SEO/GEO-Ready Information Architecture
For websites whose products or services are hard for people, search engines and AI answer tools to understand. Content inventory, page models, internal links and technical search foundations.
When this matters
The site has content, but it is scattered. Services share vague pages, important facts sit inside images or PDFs, and nothing tells a search engine or an AI assistant which page answers which question. Visitors arrive and leave without finding what they came for.
On the websites I have developed, including this one, I plan the information architecture before the design: one clear page per topic, semantic HTML, structured data where it fits, language versions linked properly and internal links that follow how people actually ask.
Decisions it helps make
- Which entities and topics the site must clearly explain
- Which page answers which question, and where pages overlap
- How pages link to each other and to supporting content
- Which structured data and technical settings fit the site
- How language versions are organised for search

How an engagement could work
- InventoryList the entities, services, products and questions the site should cover, and check what exists today.
- ModelSemantic page models and an internal-linking plan, with one clear purpose per page.
- PlanA technical SEO and AI-answer readiness plan covering metadata, structured data, sitemaps, language tags and performance basics.
A good fit
- Websites with good substance that people and search engines struggle to navigate
- Bilingual sites that need language versions organised for search
- Teams planning a new site who want the structure right before design
Not a fit
- Requests for link-building, paid search management or guaranteed rankings
- Sites that need large volumes of keyword-driven content produced quickly
Outside this work
Ranking guarantees, link-building, paid search management and bulk content production are outside this work. Implementation on an existing platform is scoped separately.
Working together
Scope, format and terms are agreed case by case. The work can stand alone or form part of a website project.
Questions answered
What does GEO mean?
GEO, or generative engine optimisation, is about making content easy for AI answer tools to read, quote and attribute accurately. In practice it relies on the same foundations as good SEO: clear pages, plain facts and sound structure.
Can you guarantee we will rank first?
No. Nobody can honestly promise that. This work removes structural reasons a site is misunderstood. Rankings and AI citations depend on many factors outside any one person's control.
Does this include writing articles?
No. The work defines what content is needed and where it belongs. Writing it is a separate task for your team or a writer.
